Key Responsibilities
Land & Revenue Mapping
• Conduct surveys using total stations, GPS, DGPS, drones, and other instruments to prepare accurate site maps.
• Validate revenue records (RTC, mutation, village maps, Akarbandh, etc.) against physical site conditions.
• Prepare cadastral and revenue maps overlaying survey data with government records.
• Assist in consolidation of survey and revenue data for land acquisition, conversion, and approvals.
Documentation & Compliance
• Verify ownership details, boundaries, and encumbrances from government land records.
• Support legal and liaison teams with survey inputs for title due diligence and statutory approvals.
• Maintain updated records of land parcels in line with local land revenue department guidelines.
Coordination
• Liaise with revenue officials, village accountants, and survey departments for mutation entries, record corrections, and obtaining certified maps.
• Collaborate with project, planning, and legal teams to align revenue mapping data with master planning and architectural drawings.
Technology & Data Management
• Prepare AutoCAD/GIS drawings integrating revenue maps with development layouts.
• Digitize land records and maintain systematic archives of survey and revenue documents.
• Ensure accuracy in GPS/GIS-based mapping for internal and statutory use.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of revenue records, land laws, and mapping procedures.
• Proficiency in survey instruments (Total Station, GPS/DGPS, Drone mapping).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and mapping software.
• Ability to interpret revenue maps, village maps, and land ownership records.
• Excellent coordination with government departments and internal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering / Surveying / Geomatics or equivalent.
• 4–8 years of experience in land surveying and revenue mapping within real estate, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Hands-on experience in cadastral mapping, revenue record validation, and statutory land documentation.
• Familiarity with state-specific land records systems (e.g., Bhoomi in Karnataka, Dharani in Telangana, etc.) is an added advantage. Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Accuracy of survey and revenue mapping data.
• Timely submission of survey reports and revenue validation.
• Reduction in boundary disputes and mapping-related escalations.
• Efficiency in coordinating with revenue authorities and obtaining approvals.
