About The Role

Our leading practice is seeking a motivated graduate to join us as a Law Clerk in our Christchurch office in January 2026. This role offers the opportunity to work in one of our key teams, gaining exposure to a wide range of legal issues and transactions. Our practice assists clients with the legal aspects of their business operations and provides advice on significant transactions. We collaborate closely with other professional services, including accounting and investment banking, to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients.

As a Law Clerk, you will be involved in diverse tasks such as:

drafting and reviewing sale and purchase agreements
IPO offer documents
takeover documents
board resolutions
statutory compliance docs
due diligence (reviewing legal material) for the sale/purchase of different businesses.

Being involved and contributing right from the start is great for learning and development, paired with a strong support network and buddy system.
