**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Associate Attorney with litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong client relationship skills, be self-sufficient, and have a desire to grow with our firm.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and effective communication throughout the legal process.
Case Management: Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances.
Legal Research and Writing: Conduct thorough research using Westlaw and other resources, and draft high-quality legal documents.
Trial Preparation: Assist with all stages of trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and trial strategy development.
Court Appearances: Represent clients in court hearings, conferences, and trials.
Requirements
1-3 years of civil litigation/trial preparation experience; employment law experience is preferred.
Active membership in the California State Bar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Westlaw, and Outlook.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and the court.
