The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate litigator with 1 - 5 years PAE to join our Sydney based Health team. The successful candidate will enjoy working across a diverse range of legally challenging and factually complex matters in the Government sector, including:
Coronial inquiries
Defending claims for negligence against doctors, nurses, hospitals, and medical centres; and
Gathering medical evidence, investigating liability, and assessing quantum of the claim.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current New South Wales practising certificate
Minimum 1 years' post admission experience in defendant medical negligence litigation and coronial inquests
Experience running litigated matters across a variety of jurisdictions
Client facing experience with the ability to understand and manage client needs
A commercial approach and ability to articulate and negotiate effectively
Excellent technical skills and the ability to manage a busy workload; and
