Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-known property management company in the metro Atlanta area. They are looking to add a Lead Accountant to the team and will move quickly for the right candidate.

• The Lead Accountant has a high-visibility role reporting directly to the Controller.

The Lead Accountant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Monthly closing duties to include account reconciliations, preparing and posting journal entries, creation and review of financial statements and other management reports.
• Monitor daily accounting activities such as A/R and A/P processing and vendor management
• Analyze financial statements for accuracy and variance analysis
• Mentor junior staff
• Maintain adherence to GAAP and documented policies and procedures
• Special projects and ad hoc reporting as requested
• Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications Of The Lead Accountant
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years similar experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• High degree of proficiency with Excel and accounting software
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills
Salary: $70,000-$80,000
