Responsibilities
• Software Development using skills described in Technical Skills section
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
• Facilitate planning, tracking and scheduling software deliverables
• Collaborate with other software developers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications built using the latest technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines
• Ensure high quality and maintainability of code through code reviews and best practices
• Assessing software, finding issues and finding solutions to them as per requirements
• Providing technical leadership to teammates through coaching, mentorship as well as establishing good habits and practices
• Software problem-solving and troubleshooting
Technical Skills
• Full stack JavaScript with good understanding of functional programming, JSON, Ajax, and jQuery
• Angular 14+ and/or React
• Node.js / JavaScript
• AWS/GCP experience
• Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing desired
Other Skills
• Team player
• Positive attitude
Qualifications
• Prior experience in a technical leadership position
• 6 years experience in relevant skills and technologies is desirable
• Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise grade software
• Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
• References from previous employers and/or colleagues are desired
