Lead Attorney - Oil & Gas or Insurance Defense
Location: Frisco TX

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Lead Attorney with 6+ years of experience in oil & gas law or insurance defense. This role is ideal for a skilled attorney ready to manage complex cases while mentoring and guiding newer attorneys on the team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a caseload of oil & gas or insurance defense matters, ensuring high-quality legal representation.
• Mentor and train junior attorneys, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
• Handle cases from inception through resolution, including litigation, negotiation, and settlement processes.
• Maintain excellent client relationships and uphold the firm's high standards of service.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in oil & gas law or insurance defense.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing talent.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
