We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our organization.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in large-scale projects (townships, residential, and commercial). They must possess expertise in construction material procurement, cost control, and project accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain project-wise accounting and financial records.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.
Project Accounting & Cost Control:
• Track expenses, revenues, and profit margins for construction projects.
• Handle work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and material consumption reports.
• Implement cost control measures and minimize financial risks.
Procurement & Vendor Management:
• Oversee procurement of construction materials and supplier payments.
• Verify purchase orders, contracts, and invoices for accuracy.
• Negotiate with vendors for better pricing and credit terms.
Compliance & Reporting:
• Ensure statutory compliance with financial and labor laws.
• Generate MIS reports on project expenses and financial health.
• Liaise with auditors and tax consultants when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: M. Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in construction accounting.
• Industry Expertise: Worked on large construction projects (townships, residential, commercial).
Essential Skills:
• Strong construction material procurement knowledge
• Expertise in cost control & project accounting
• Proficiency in GST, TDS, and financial compliance
• Ability to work under deadlines & manage multiple projects
