Job Overview

As the Lead for Portfolio Operations, you will drive exceptional product performance through strategic management of profit and loss (P&L) and focus on optimizing operating margins through initiatives like Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE), Product Line Simplification, and the 80/20 principle (FPP). You will also manage key processes that support our portfolio, leveraging Vontier Business System (VBS) tools such as Daily Management, Problem Solving, and Strategic Program Review. In this role, you will act as a pivotal link between the General Management team and key internal stakeholders, including Operations and Finance.

Responsibilities
• OMX Delivery
• Lead the achievement of portfolio OMX targets (including VAVE, Simplification, FPP).
• Drive a financial target of $XX million over a 3-year strategic cycle.
• Ensure the sustained flow of savings to deliver year-over-year results.
• Drive FPP Simplification
• Streamline and prioritize programs and product roadmaps to meet profit & loss investment targets across our solutions and regions.
• Empower teams for rapid decision-making and solution proposals while highlighting risks.
• Governance & Decision-Making
• Manage meeting agendas and ensure decisions and actions are implemented.
• Prepare regular financial and operational reviews for weekly management meetings to maintain project timelines.
• Utilize VBS tools to support effective execution of portfolio strategies.
• Foster an environment of transparency, accountability, and collaboration across functions.
• Plant Participation
• Actively take part in factory meetings and Daily Management sessions to keep management informed of operational opportunities and challenges, facilitating proactive problem resolution.
• Lead the implementation of new product processes that require coordination with operational facilities.
• Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), especially concerning major customer transitions and market changes impacting planning.
• Team Enablement
• Coach teams on gate criteria and review processes.
• Encourage transparency and cross-collaboration among diverse teams.
• Oversee price book updates and extended lead time verifications and strategies.

Qualifications

Essential
• 3+ years of experience in portfolio management, product strategy, or business operations.
• 3+ years of demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional teams effectively.
• Solid understanding of product improvement, lifecycle management, daily management, and process improvement for integrated solutions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferable
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

The base salary range for this position is $112,300 to $143,600 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined by various factors, including experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
