The key to this role is negotiation skills.
Experience leading the negotiations in large environments.
Preferably financial, insurance, healthcare, highly regulated environments.
They have worked specifically in IT, meaning applications, infrastructure, software, hardware.
Last but not least: managed services, meaning large organizations like ServiceNow, IBM, Cognizant, not just consulting services, meaning when they have a large project, they bring in a managed service provider to help support that project. Not body shop type

DURATION: MINIMUM 6 MONTHS
Looking for a procurement professional to lead PFPs for IT Services. This is including global applications management services define IT sourcing plans for technology services. Procurement for IT contract negotiation hardware software vendor management heavy professional services dealing with large vendors like IBM AWS cognizant etc. overseeing finance make sure they are not overcharged must come from large environments degreed with certifications such as SRM, CIP, PMP, CPSM, CSMP, CSCP or CPSD

Experience
• Ten or more years in IT Sourcing and/or procurement and/or vendor management, with at least three years leading major RFPs and at least five years managing outsourced vendor relationships.
• A broad understanding of IT sourcing trends and their potential implications to the business.
• Experience in evaluating support agreements and the yearly true-up and demand management requirements.
• Experience leading key technology negotiations.
• Legal experience, with a background in IT contracts, is an advantage.
• Other functional experience particularly in IT, business strategy, business analysis or finance is an advantage.
• Strong ability to translate stakeholder requirements into IT sourcing practices and business outcomes.
Education and Training
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, information technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, training and education.
• Master’s degree or master's of business administration (MBA), or a juris doctor (JD), is desired.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification or Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) is a plus.
