This role plays a critical part in defining and governing the standards that ensure learning is effective, compliant, and aligned to business needs.

As the Learning & Development Manager Quality & Standards, you will lead the development, implementation, and governance of learning quality frameworks across the Qantas Group. This includes leading quality assurance activities, establishing consistent standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring learning programs meet regulatory, legislative, and business requirements.

You will partner closely with the Learning Manager Technology, working together to ensure learning solutions are high quality, data driven, and operationally effective. This role also provides strategic insights and performance reporting to senior leadership, using quality metrics such as NPS, CSAT and benchmarking data to guide decision making.


What you will bring to the role :

A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Learning & Development, Quality, or Compliance leadership role, ideally within a large, complex, highly regulated organisation
Advanced expertise in developing and governing learning quality frameworks, including standards, KPIs, assurance processes and audit cycles
Deep knowledge of quality methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, ISOaligned approaches or equivalent, with demonstrated application in learning or operational environments
Strong analytical capability, including the ability to interpret NPS, CSAT, operational metrics and learning quality insights to identify trends and drive strategic improvements
Demonstrated experience conducting quality audits, compliance reviews, and gap analyses, with the ability to translate findings into actionable improvement plans
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to engage and uplift stakeholders at all levels, including senior operational leaders
Strong leadership capability, including coaching, developing and leading specialist quality roles (such as Principal Advisers)
Demonstrated capability to lead change, embed new processes, manage resistance, and drive adoption across multiple sites or business units
Tertiary qualifications in Learning & Development, Quality, Business, Human Resources, or related fields
