Job Description
This is an ongoing position within the People Strategy and Operations (VPS) Division, Workforce Strategy and Capability Branch. The role contributes to the successful delivery of a range of learning and organisational development (L&OD) programs.
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services. The department leads key cross-sector collaboration, provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria, and plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems.
The role works closely with Senior Learning and Development / Leadership Development and Organisational Development Consultants to implement high-quality L&OD approaches across the department's corporate areas. To be successful in this role, you will be solution-focused, client-centric, and possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
You will also have the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships within the department and external organisations, as well as demonstrate critical thinking skills, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the work associated with and supporting all learning and development initiatives, including stakeholder management, co-ordination, and reporting of L&OD activities.
Work closely with Senior Learning and Development / Leadership Development and Organisational Development Consultants in implementing high-quality L&OD approaches.
Provide strategic advice and support to corporate areas in organisational capability, culture, effectiveness, best practice induction, performance management, and recognition strategies and processes.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources (Learning and Development / Organisational Development) and/or relevant tertiary qualification in Organisational Psychology.
