We have a proud history of working across every aspect of every cancer for more than 90 years, and this is your opportunity to become a part of that history and become a member of SA’s most trusted charity.

Together, we can all play a part in reducing the impact of cancer.

Description:
About the Team

The fundraising team drives the revenue that powers CCSA’s vital work, inspiring community support through some of Australia’s most iconic campaigns while continually introducing fresh, evidence‑based ways to grow impact. It’s a collaborative, high‑performing group defined by shared learning, innovation and a strong commitment to excellence.

About the Role

The Legacy Giving Coordinator is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth across the Gifts in Wills and In-Memoriam portfolios.

The role leads the development and execution of relationship-based strategies that increase confirmed bequests and strengthen tribute giving engagement and retention.

The position manages a defined portfolio of legacy prospects, confirmed bequestors, and key In-Memoriam supporters. It builds a qualified pipeline of future bequestors while ensuring tribute donors receive thoughtful, timely and meaningful stewardship.

The role applies structured relationship management to deepen engagement, increase lifetime value, and ensure sensitive and high-trust conversations are handled with care and professionalism.

As a member of the broader fundraising team, the role contributes to cross-team strategy and supports integrated donor journeys that strengthen supporter experience and revenue outcomes.

About You

You bring a people‑centred approach to your work, with a natural ability to build trust, communicate with clarity, and nurture meaningful relationships.

You thrive in busy environments, balancing multiple priorities with calm focus, initiative, and strong time‑management skills. Whether working independently or alongside a team, you bring flexibility, collaboration, and a steady drive to meet milestones and deliver quality outcomes. Your professionalism, discretion, and alignment with Cancer Council SA’s values shape the way you work and the relationships you build.
