Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Advisor to join our team at The Elite Job, specializing in Corporate Governance. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel on corporate governance matters, ensuring that the company complies with all relevant corporate laws, regulations, and standards.
• Draft, review, and implement governance policies, ensuring they align with best practices and legal requirements.
• Advise the board of directors, senior management, and other stakeholders on governance-related matters.
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents, contracts, and reports concerning corporate governance, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Monitor changes in legislation, regulatory environments, and best practices, and provide guidance on necessary updates or changes to corporate policies.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to corporate
governance standards.
• Develop and maintain the companys legal compliance framework, providing proactive recommendations on risk management.
• Support internal investigations and compliance audits related to governance matters.
• Represent the company in corporate governance-related legal proceedings, including disputes and litigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure corporate strategies align with governance objectives.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• A law degree (JD, LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in corporate governance, compliance, and corporate law.
• Strong understanding of corporate structures, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex legal documents and contracts.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
• Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate governance or legal advisory roles, ideally within a corporate or law firm setting.
• Experience advising boards of directors and senior executives on governance and compliance matters.
• Proven track record in handling legal compliance, corporate structuring, and regulatory issues.
• Working Hours:
• Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
• Flexible working hours and remote work options available upon agreement.
• Occasional travel may be required for meetings and site visits.

• Strong knowledge of corporate governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, particularly in the corporate sector.
