Legal and compliance Manager(Manufacturing)
Location: Vasai (Plant Location)
Department: HR & Compliance
Reporting to: Head – HR
Role Purpose
To ensure complete legal, statutory, and regulatory compliance for manufacturing operations, minimizing legal risks and supporting smooth business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all central & state labour laws applicable to manufacturing units, including:
Factories Act, 1948
Industrial Disputes Act
Shops & Establishment Act
Payment of Wages, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity
EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF
Oversee statutory registrations, licenses & renewals (Factory License, CLRA, Boilers, Fire, Pollution Control, etc.).
Manage statutory filings, returns, inspections & audits.
Handle labour inspections, notices, and liaison with labour authorities.
Draft, vet, and review contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, vendor and manpower contracts.
Coordinate with external legal counsel, consultants & auditors.
Support HR in handling employee relations, disciplinary actions & legal cases.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, POSH, and internal controls.
Maintain compliance dashboards and periodic compliance MIS for leadership.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
