Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and proactive
Legal Intern
who is not only interested in core legal functions but is also curious about the intersection of law and artificial intelligence. This role is ideal for law students or recent graduates who want to understand how technology—particularly AI—is transforming the legal landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the legal team in reviewing and analyzing commercial contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research on regulatory frameworks related to technology, AI, data privacy, and intellectual property.
Collaborate with the product team to understand how AI is applied in contract analytics and risk identification.
Support in creating training data sets for AI algorithms by tagging and annotating legal clauses.
Prepare legal notes, case studies, and reports on emerging legal tech trends.
Participate in internal product testing and provide legal insights to enhance AI outputs.
Support in compliance and documentation for data privacy and corporate governance.
Leverage
AI tools such as ChatGPT
for legal research, drafting, summarization, and prompt engineering to improve productivity and accuracy.
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent).
Strong interest in technology, artificial intelligence, or legal innovation.
Good understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and legal research.
Familiarity with
AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, legal tech platforms, automation tools)
and ability to create effective prompts for research and drafting.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior exposure to legal tech tools (like CLM, eDiscovery, etc.) is a plus but not mandatory.
