Job Description
Our ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a legal assistant, including specific experience in the following:
· client intake and ongoing interaction
· managing the lawyer’s calendar and diarizing deadlines and limitation dates
· reviewing incoming correspondence and responding as required
· serving and filing court documents
· preparing invoices
· having an excellent understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and the Family Law Rules
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks based on urgency and deadlines.
