Legal Assistant | Insurance Team
Downtown Montreal
Our client, a renowned law firm in the insurance field is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to work with a senior partner.
The employer, a firm with very good job stability within its teams, is located in the heart of downtown
Montreal. It is close to major metro, bus and railway lines.

YOUR ROLE:
As a Legal Assistant in litigation, insurance law, your tasks will include:
• Prepare litigation procedures in the field of insurance law;
• Manage contentious delays, as needed;
• Manage the agenda and phone calls of Lawyers;
• Be the resource person for the preparation and revision of the various documents;
• Keep records up to date and in accordance with legal procedures;
• Manage the opening, tracking and filing of files;
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Attestation of collegial studies, Paralegal (an asset);
• Similar experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant;
• Experience in insurance law will be considered (an asset);
• French fluency: spoken, written and read;
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
• Organizational capacity and good interpersonal skills;
• Team spirit and good management of priorities.
