Job Description
Reporting to the VP Legal you will be responsible for:
• Drafting, vetting, negotiation and closure of different business, commercial and financial contracts/ agreements including but not limited to Power Purchase Agreements, Share Subscription & Shareholder Agreements, JV Agreements, EPC Agreements, MOUs, Service & Supply Agreements, purchase orders etc.
• Handling Land due diligence, Title search Report verification, Sales deeds, lease deeds
• Providing interpretation and analysing of contractual clauses
• Preparing standard terms of the contracts /documents and Matrix to monitor deviations.
• Managing and assisting in handling commercial disputes, litigation, arbitration claims etc
• Coordinating with external legal counsels and law firms.
• Providing support on miscellaneous legal issues as may be brought to as an in-house counsel
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you are a lawyer with 6-10 years of experience in handling legal contracts. An individual should have experience in EPC contracts, land due diligence and coordinating with external legal counsel.
