Responsibilities:
Identifying potential risks and provide strategic advice on a diverse range of risk and regulatory matters.
Addressing issues specifically related to the technology and media sector, including interpreting and advising on relevant regulations.
Reviewing content and marketing for global digital platforms.
Creation and amendment of policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory changes.
Requirements:
You'll have a minimum of 8 years relevant PQE in content and regulatory matters.
Your background will ideally include a strong mix of law firm experience together with either secondments or in-house experience.
Minimum 4 years working in larger legal teams in a FAANG or a global MNC would be advantageous.
Deep understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks, particularly as it pertains to the technology and media sector.
A commercial and pragmatic approach with excellent analytical and communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice law in Australia.
