The Role

Our client is a leading national insurance company who is seeking a talented insurance litigator with ideally defendant professional indemnity, public liability, defendant insurance experience to a quasi in-house role working on a mix of claims and policy advisory work.



Key responsibilities:

Working alongside an experienced, large team of lawyers nationally, many ex-top tier and large defendant insurance law firm, you will work across:



A broad range of professional indemnity claims across a variety of professions and industries
Current matters will see the successful candidate working across professional negligence defence in the construction and property industries as well as professional service providers from IT professionals to architects, engineers and valuers
A small degree of personal injuries involvement
Provide legal advice related to policy coverage, as well as new products


To be considered the successful candidate will have:

Post admission experience of 3-6 years' in defendant insurance litigation ideally with professional indemnity or personal injuries experience though other areas will be considered as training will be provided
A commercial approach and ability to work autonomously and run your own matters - with support from the team when needed
