The Legal Executive at our building material company in Gurgaon plays a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance, managing contracts, and providing strategic legal advice. Key Responsibilities
Conducting legal research and analysis to support business operations and decision-making
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Managing and overseeing litigation matters, including disputes and claims
Advising on regulatory compliance and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations
Handling legal documentation, including corporate filings, intellectual property, and licenses
Supporting in due diligence and legal audits
Assisting in legal risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Collaborating with external legal counsel when necessary
Participating in legal negotiations and settlements
Assisting in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures
Providing legal support to various business functions
Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the industry
Assisting in the resolution of legal disputes and claims
Conducting legal training and awareness programs for employees
Overseeing compliance with data protection and privacy laws
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
Proven work experience as a Legal Executive or similar role
Admission to the Bar Council
Sound knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and legal procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Familiarity with MS Office and legal research databases
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Experience in the building material industry is a plus
Understanding of labor laws and employment regulations
Proven track record of successful contract management
Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management
