Legal Executive – Litigation Department
Location: Boyd Rice Solicitors, Newtownards
Contract: Full-time preferred; part-time considered
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Legal Executive to join our busy litigation department You’ll play a key role in supporting our solicitors, managing files, and ensuring the smooth running of our litigation caseload. Experience in handling credit hire cases is welcomed.
What You’ll Do
Draft court proceedings and prepare court bundles
Manage diaries and coordinate schedules
Answer and direct telephone calls, handling queries and messages professionally
Assist solicitors with file management and administrative duties
Review discovery and medical records
Transcribe from digital dictation
Instruct counsel as required
Open and close files, and manage incoming/outgoing post
Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider business
Perform other administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
At least 1 years’ experience in a litigation support role (legal executive, paralegal, or secretary)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional, approachable, and able to maintain confidentiality
GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (desirable)
