Overview
The Legal, CS & Compliance Head will be responsible for providing legal counsel, overseeing corporate secretarial functions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations for our FMCG company. This role will require a strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Role & Responsibilities
• Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiation, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
• Review and draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies.
• Manage legal disputes and litigation.
• Provide legal training and guidance to employees.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices.
• Prepare and file necessary corporate documents with regulatory authorities.
• Manage board meetings and shareholder meetings.
• Maintain corporate records and registers.
• Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including food safety, environmental, and labor laws.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
• Provide compliance training and guidance to employees.
Educational Qualification
LLB + CS (Preferred)
