Legal Intake Paralegal – Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Location: Remote – Texas (preferred)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Position Summary:
We are currently hiring a Bilingual Legal Intake Paralegal (English/Spanish) to support our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a background in sales, and experience in financial information gathering—such as in mortgage, banking, or loan preparation.
As the first point of contact for prospective clients, you will lead in-depth initial case interviews, providing a supportive and professional environment while collecting the information necessary to assess the client's financial situation and potential legal path forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough initial case interviews—virtually and in person—with potential clients to gather essential details for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings.
Use a keen eye for financial data to enter key details in a client’s income, assets, debts, and expenses.
Create meaningful connections with clients, building trust and establishing a calming, confident tone from the very first interaction.
Prepare and organize all intake documentation in the case management software.
Maintain proactive and empathetic communication with clients, offering updates and guidance through the early stages of their legal journey.
Adapt to evolving firm processes and contribute to operational improvements as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (both spoken and written fluency required).
Prior experience in legal intake, sales, financial services, mortgage, or loan processing is strongly preferred.
Exceptional people skills with a natural ability to establish rapport and calm client concerns.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize financial information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently while adhering to established procedures.
Adaptability and initiative to thrive in a growing, fast-paced firm.
