Halcyon Traveltech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our dynamic legal team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate law within the fast-paced environment of a tech startup. The Legal Intern will work closely with our in-house counsel and assist with a wide range of legal matters crucial to our operations.
• Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on various issues related to corporate law, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Support the legal team in preparing for corporate filings and governance matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal guidance on business initiatives and projects.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the travel and technology industries.
- Assist in managing legal documentation and maintaining accurate records.
• Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic background with coursework in corporate law, contracts, Real-estate and intellectual property preferred.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous legal internship or related experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Duration and Compensation:
This is a paid internship position with a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension to a permanent role in the company based on performance and business needs.
