Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced to join a growing and innovative organisation operating within the property and conveyancing sector.

This would suit a qualified Conveyancer, Legal Executive or Solicitor with experience in a high-volume conveyancing department of a law firm. The ideal candidate will have managed their own caseload and has experience of using a case management system to assist with conveyancing transactions. They should be able to demonstrate an understanding of workflows and how to break down the conveyancing process to identify where efficiencies and improvements can be made.

This is a key role responsible for managing and developing a panel of law firms across the UK, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance and performance. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships, reducing risk and driving continuous improvement across legal service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct audit and performance reviews of panel law firms
Monitor SLA performance, quality, and compliance
Build and maintain strong relationships with law firms
Manage panel capacity, ensuring the right firms are in place to meet demand
Identify and mitigate risk, including charge registration and title-related issues
Produce clear and accurate reports, escalating issues where required
Support internal teams with training on conveyancing practices and regulatory updates
Contribute to projects and process improvements
Represent the business in industry engagements
Travel across the UK to conduct on-site audits and relationship meetings
Key skills:

Experience within conveyancing, property law, or legal services
Exposure to managing or working with law firms or legal suppliers
Experience in performance management, audit, compliance, or risk
Strong understanding of SLA/KPI-driven environments
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and reporting capability
Ability to identify risk and drive improvements
Confident communicator, able to engage with both legal professionals and internal teams
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel
Desirable:

Experience working with lender panels or mortgage/conveyancing processes
Knowledge of UK property law across multiple jurisdictions
Experience contributing to process improvement or digital transformation projects
