Job Description

The Legal Representative (LR) is responsible for representing the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) in all legal and operational matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and handling all interactions with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. The AR will perform duties related to loan origination, documentation, collection, and customer service, ensuring smooth execution of business processes while adhering to NBFC policies and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure that all financial transactions comply with regulatory requirements such as RBI, SEBI, and other applicable laws governing NBFCs.

Maintain and update legal records and financial documentation in line with the NBFC’s internal policies and applicable laws.

Coordinate with legal teams and external legal counsel for the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

Client Interaction:

Act as the primary point of contact for customers and clients in relation to their financial services (e.g., loan applications, repayments, etc.).
Provide clear communication to clients about the terms, conditions, and obligations related to loan products and services.

Advise clients on product offerings and assist them with the completion of documentation and formalities.

Loan Processing & Collection:

Manage and monitor the loan application process, ensuring that all documentation and requirements are fulfilled promptly and accurately.

Coordinate with the collections team for the timely follow-up and resolution of overdue payments, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and guidelines.

Business Development & Relationship Management:

Identify and develop business opportunities in line with the NBFC's objectives.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, business partners, and stakeholders.

Conduct outreach and business development activities to generate new business leads.

Reporting & Analysis:
Provide regular reports to senior management regarding the status of ongoing loan applications, collections, and other business activities.

Maintain and manage records of customer interactions, loan progress, payments, and other relevant data.

Customer Support:

Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Offer assistance in the resolution of any account discrepancies, loan issues, or product inquiries.

Internal Collaboration:

Work closely with compliance, risk management, and operations teams to ensure the company adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Assist in ensuring smooth communication and workflow between internal departments and external partners.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field.

Additional certifications in finance, law, or related fields are a plus.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience working in the financial services industry, preferably within an NBFC, banking, or financial institution.

Proven experience in loan origination, client servicing, or legal compliance roles.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of financial products and services offered by NBFCs.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., RBI, SEBI) and compliance requirements in the financial industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management tools.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
