Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented legal intern to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a law student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the real estate industry. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced legal professionals, assisting in a variety of tasks related to property law, compliance, and contract management.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research on real estate laws, regulations, and case law
• Support the legal team in preparing final sets for the registry of sale deeds, agreements for sale, or other deeds of conveyance
• Visit the office of the registrar or sub-registrar and participate in the registration of deeds of conveyance
• Help with the management and organization of legal files and documents
• Participate in due diligence processes for property acquisitions and developments
• Aid in the resolution of customer disputes by drafting and sending notices to customers or replying to letters from customers
• Assist in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the legal department
