Roles and Responsibilities
Our team is seeking a skilled Legal Retainer to assist in various legal matters. The ideal candidate will have expertise in drafting legal documents, including Franchise Agreements, Agency Agreements, and Retail Agreements. Additionally, the Legal Retainer will be responsible for due diligence of property title documents, assessment of stamp duty and registration fee calculation on leased/licensed properties, and representation of the company at contract negotiations on legal issues.
The successful candidate will also be expected to research skills, stay up-to-date with relevant developments in the marketing and retail industry, and provide inputs in operational matters to ensure desired support to the business. Furthermore, the Legal Retainer will support/attend all litigations/cases filed by and against the company.
Key responsibilities include:
