Vacancy Description: Legal Secretary – Family Department
Location: Atherton Office
Hours: +.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.
We have a vacancy for a Legal Secretary to work in our Family Department at our Atherton Office.
Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided.
Job role
Duties
Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
• Providing full secretarial assistance to a solicitor
• Some audio typing but ability to work under instruction an advantage
• Arranging appointments and meetings
• Telephone contact with clients and outside agencies
• Diary management
• Database work
Skills Required
• Experience in family law at secretarial level
• Excellent typing ability
• Excellent IT skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail (accuracy essential)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Friendly and professional manner
