Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location

Accountable for organizing and maintaining all files (electronic, paper and other) and legal archives
Schedules and coordinates attorney and case load calendars
Typically Manager or above

This role enjoys a hybrid schedule working out of one of the following CNA Litigation Counsel offices: Santa Ana, California or Plano, Texas.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
• Handles all aspects of document preparation.
• May draft, prepare and distribute legal correspondence and memos under management/attorney direction. Files documents timely and appropriately with courts and other parties.
• Collaboratively assist in gathering and organizing exhibits, documents, trial data and other materials in response to subpoenas, discovery requests, interrogatories, motions for summary judgment etc.
• Accountable for organizing and maintaining all files (electronic, paper and other) and legal archives.

• Typically Manager or above

Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

Education And Experience
• Associates degree with course work or applicable certifications preferred or equivalent experience.
• Typically a minimum four years of experience in a related legal administrative environment.
• Tort defense experience strongly preferred.
• Multivenue experience or willingness to learn other venues strongly preferred.
• Federal Court experience preferred.
