Key responsibilities for this role include:
Providing pro-active, effective and timely administrative and systems support to internal stakeholders across ANZ.
Identify, define and resolve problems in relation to the Legal function as they arise.
Improve the operational quality and effectiveness of the Legal function.
Plan, monitor and achieve functional goals within the prescribed timeframe.
Co-ordinate and manage corporate secretarial documents and filings for the ANZ business entities.
Act as the first point of contact on behalf of the Legal team, and triage accordingly.
The ideal candidate for this role is;
(i). Extensive experience working as a Legal Secretary for an in-house Legal team, or within a Legal firm., or;
(ii). A law student currently undertaking their degree.

The minimum qualifications and experience for this role are:
NSW Law Society Legal Secretary training (equivalent experience will be considered) or 10+ years working as a Legal Secretary in a private law firm.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work from a customer (both internal and external) perspective to ensure customer satisfaction, by adoption a solutions focused mindset.
Assertive, tenacious and resilient approach with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
