Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Hindi Legal Translator at YLT LEGAL, based in New Delhi with some work from home flexibility. The Hindi Legal Translator will be responsible for translating various legal documents from Hindi to English and vice versa. Daily tasks include interpreting legal texts, maintaining the accuracy of translation, typing legal documents, and providing transcription services for audio and video recordings. Collaboration with legal professionals and clients to ensure clarity and correctness is also a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in translating legal documents from Hindi to English and English to Hindi.
• Strong typing skills in both Hindi and English, with an ability to transcribe audio and video recordings.
• Solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a hybrid work environment.
• Relevant experience in legal translation and transcription.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Law, Linguistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience with data entry and document formatting is a plus.
