Senior Billing Coordinator (AM Law 100)
Firm:
A nationally recognized AM Law 100 firm with 500+ attorneys providing comprehensive legal services to innovative companies from startups to global enterprises.
Role:
The Senior Billing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the billing process of the law firm. You will be tasked with reviewing and processing invoices, tracking time and expenses, managing budgets, and ensuring that all billing procedures are in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing and processing invoices from attorneys and outside vendors
• Managing time entries and edits, adjustments, write-downs, etc.
• Ensuring all billable time and expenses are accurately recorded and billed to clients
• Preparing and distributing detailed billing reports to attorneys and clients
• Electronic invoicing
Qualifications:
• MUST have prior/current law firm/legal billing experience.
• Knowledge of legal billing software such as Elite, 3E or Aderant
• Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of the legal billing process, from time entry review to collection efforts.
Working Situation:
Hybrid - 1 day in office per week
Compensation/Benefits:
• Base Salary: $80-110k+, commensurate with experience.
• Additional Compensation: Annual performance-based bonus.

This newly created role is part of our expanding, centralized docketing team and reports to the Senior Manager of Practice Support Services . The Docket Specialist plays a critical role in supporting attorneys, paralegals, and legal administrative assistants across all practice groups, with a strong focus on managing case - specific information in responsible jurisdictions. After a comprehensive training period, this position will transition into a hybrid-remote schedule .
Key Responsibilities
• Enter, update, and monitor critical litigation dates and deadlines in CompuLaw, ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state rules.
• Research applicable court rules and answer procedural questions from attorneys and staff.
• Review and process incoming case-related notices and correspondence.
• Generate clear, accurate docket reports and perform quality control checks on all entries.
• Complete special projects assigned by the Docket Administrator and Senior Manager of Practice Support Services.
