Linux Engineer
A leading high-frequency trading firm based in New York is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer engineer to deploy, maintain, and monitor a fleet of bare-metal Unix Servers within their low-latency environment, while also developing innovative automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of the server lifecycle
• Build, deploy, and maintain solutions
• Monitor performance and manage system capacity
• Analyze and resolve technical incidents
• Automate systems
• Connect hardware and software
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting Linux/Unix servers
• Experience within a HPC environment
• Python Scripting experience
• Experience with infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible flavor)
• Knowledge of virtualization and networking
