Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Linux engineers
• Design and maintain highly available, secure Linux environments
• Drive automation using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools
• Oversee system performance, monitoring, and incident response
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support production systems
• Define and enforce best practices for system reliability, patching, and compliance
• Participate in architecture decisions and capacity planning
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience administering Linux systems in production environments
• Prior experience in a leadership or senior technical role
• Strong knowledge of distributions such as RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or Debian
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system performance tuning
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments is a plus
