Qualifications
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with between 2 - 8 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team in Albuquerque, NM
While a strong preference is given to candidates with product liability experience, those with experience in catastrophic fires and explosions or oilfield accidents will be highly regarded
Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensure Active license to practice law in New Mexico
Experience 2 - 8 Years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for product liability cases
Experience in catastrophic fires/explosions and/or oilfield accidents is a bonus
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in legal research and case management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Benefits

Responsibilities
Case Management Independently manage a diverse caseload, with a focus on product liability cases, while also handling matters related to catastrophic fires/explosions and oilfield accidents as needed
Legal Research Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation
Client Interaction Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and advising on legal matters
Drafting and Filing Prepare, review, and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
Court Appearances Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions
Negotiations Engage in settlement negotiations and mediation to resolve cases effectively
Strategy Development Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments
