Mortenson Taggart Adams LLP, a business litigation firm with multiple office in California, is seeking an attorney with 1-8 years of experience in commercial litigation.
We are a busy firm and looking for an experienced candidate that can come in and immediately hit the ground running. We represent a variety of business, including Fortune 500 companies, mid-market business, franchise systems, high net worth individuals, and entrepreneurs. Although we run a busy litigation practice, we still pride ourselves on having a friendly, relaxed work environment.
The right candidate for the position should have experience in both state and federal court. We will only consider candidates with strong research and writing skills, and extensive law and motion practice and discovery experience. Proficiency with depositions and some trial experience is also a plus.
The attorney that joins the firm will receive a wide variety experience with our team of seasoned trial attorneys while working in a fast-paced environment. The attorney will gain valuable litigation skills at all levels of litigation.

Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Attend court hearings and handle oral arguments;
• Strong research and writing skills;
• Written discovery proficiency;
• Experienced both taking and defending depositions;
• Strong communication skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; and
• Good firm citizen.
