Location: Gurgaon Sec 6+ (Work from office)
Please Note-Candidates with 6+ years of litigation experience will be preferred. Candidates with a background in contract management or less experience in litigation are advised not to apply for this role.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Specialist to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, analytical abilities, and a thorough understanding of both civil and criminal litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Assessment, Research, and Drafting Skills:
• Conduct initial case evaluations to assess the merits of the case, predict potential outcomes, and determine the best course of action.
• Perform thorough legal research using legal databases and tools.
• Draft clear, concise, and compelling legal documents, including:
• Statement of Claim
• Statement of Defense
• Rejoinders
• Written Submissions
• Motions, briefs, legal notices, and replies to legal notices.
Negotiation and Mediation Skills:
• Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes to resolve cases favorably without the need for a trial.
• Maintain effective communication with all involved parties to ensure successful dispute resolution.
Time Management and Organizational Skills:
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
• Ensure no aspect of any case is neglected, maintaining high standards of organization and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of both civil and criminal laws.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and tools.
• Excellent drafting and research skills with attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively under pressure.
