Leventhal Puga Braley P.C., recognized as one of the very best law firms in the United States and the top law firm in Colorado for medical malpractice and personal injury, has an opening for an experienced legal assistant. We’re looking for someone who wants more than a job – we need someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of clients whose experiences are catastrophic and life-altering. You will be part of a litigation team working on complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases from start to finish. You and the case paralegal will be responsible for your separate portions of case management and will participate in day-to-day case collaboration. Requirements and Responsibilities:

● A minimum of 3 years of current complex personal injury/medical malpractice litigation experience, including trial experience

● Prioritize tasks/deadlines for multiple cases

● Legal and medical terminology

●Document preparation, including, but not limited to, properly formatted pleadings, briefs, correspondence, memos, outlines, and summaries

● Transcribe from oral dictation and written drafts

● Strategize with team

● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

● Schedule depositions, mediation, trials, calls

● Schedule travel, including air, hotels, and vehicles

● Familiar with state and federal Rules of Civil Procedure

● Proficient in E-Filing requirements for state, federal, and appellate procedures

● Trial preparation

● Docket and calendar, using electronic database

● Stable current work history

● Filevine a plus

● Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
