This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our team of professional attorneys and play a pivotal role in managing and organizing various legal cases. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in litigation support, proficiency in iConect software, and a deep understanding of legal terminologies, research, and documentation. This position is a full-time, permanent role that requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive litigation support to our team of attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process.
• Conduct extensive legal research, review, and analyze complex legal documents.
• Utilize iConect software for managing, organizing, and reviewing legal documents and case materials.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions, and subpoenas.
• Coordinate and manage the production of discovery documents.
• Assist in the preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
• Maintain and update case files, dockets, and deadlines.
• Liaise with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other legal professionals.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Paralegal Certification from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in using iConect software and other legal databases.
• In-depth knowledge of legal research techniques, litigation procedures, and document management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
