Job description
What you will be doing
-Attend local community events, such as community festivals, fetes or awareness days to represent Cycling UK
-Help with the smooth running of the event and ensure an enjoyable and supportive experience for participants and the public
-Be ready to help with various tasks such as registering participants, collecting surveys, covering a stand or putting up/taking down signage
-Help to create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere

Live-in carer pay and benefits
Working as a live-in carer for Ashridge Home Care means you will receive the following benefits:
£800-£945 per week. One of the best rates of pay across the industry.

What does the role of a live-in carer involve?
As a live-in carer, you will live with your client in their own home for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time. You will be a companion to them and support with various aspects of their daily routine, as well as working with colleagues and external agencies to provide a person-centred and holistic approach to client care.
This may include home help, personal care support, cooking, medication administration, support with organising and attending medical appointments and accompanying clients on outings.

What qualifications do you need to be a live-in carer?
To be a live in carer, you do not need to have professional experience or hold formal qualifications. Together, we will guide and support you to develop your skills and confidence in providing high quality care for clients with a variety of needs, from companionship to complex care.
We feel it is important to reward and support our team, and we have developed a friendly and nurturing working environment. You will have a dedicated care manager and the office team are always there at the end of the phone or when you visit the office. We want to help you progress in your role if you wish to and can support you to undertake higher learning and NVQs.
