Position SummaryGreen Infrastructure Sales & Field Consultant
This role combines business development with hands-on field experience. The Green Infrastructure Sales & Field Consultant is responsible for generating new project opportunities, building relationships within the architecture and property management community, and supporting the delivery of high-quality green infrastructure installations.
In addition to driving sales activity, this role requires time on-site to understand product execution, assist with installations and maintenance visits, and ensure solutions are properly represented to clients. Field exposure is essential to developing product expertise and credibility in client conversations.
This position is ideal for someone who is relationship-driven, commercially minded, and eager to deepen their understanding of sustainable building systems.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new client relationships within the Greater Toronto Area
Conduct outreach to architects, designers, developers, and property managers
Present living wall, planter, moss wall, and green roof solutions
Prepare proposals and support pricing discussions
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting
Field & Technical Exposure:
Participate in site visits and installation days to understand system execution
Assist with living wall and planter maintenance when required
Observe irrigation system inspections and plant health assessments
Develop working knowledge of installation standards and troubleshooting
This role requires travel within the Greater Vancouver Area and occasionally beyond.
Compensation & Structure
Part-time or contractor role
8–20 hours per week (with potential for growth)
Compensation: $22–$30/hour plus performance-based incentives
Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Interest in sustainability and green building
Basic understanding of plant systems or willingness to learn
Comfortable engaging with professionals in design and real estate sectors
Competent using hand tools and comfortable assisting on-site
Comfortable working on ladders up to 12’ in height
Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
