Luxury Handbag Sourcer Founding Team — Remote, Commission + Equity Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid/Remote) | Part-Time | Ground-Floor
We're hiring our first Luxury Handbag Sourcer at Purr
You'd be our eyes on the ground: scouring estate sales, private collections, consignment shops, and resale markets to find rare, investment-grade handbags — think discontinued Chanel, pre-2000 Hermès, limited edition Balenciaga, vintage Dior, new season bags that are going to take off.
This is a ground-floor opportunity with commission + equity, so you're not just sourcing bags — you're building something.
What you'd do:
• Source rare and high-value luxury handbags
• Connect sellers to our authenticated marketplace
• Earn commission on every bag that sells
• Get equity in a startup built for this market
• Research luxury brands and market trends
• Verify authenticity and evaluate pricing
• Build relationships with sellers and manage inventory

Qualifications:
• Experience with luxury handbag sourcing, authentication, or resale
• Knowledge of designer brands, fashion trends, and luxury market dynamics
• Strong research and analytical skills, especially in evaluating handbag authenticity and pricing
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building relationships with sellers
• Experience in inventory management and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a hybrid work environment
• Tech-savvy with familiarity in using apps or platforms for selling and sourcing
• Passion for luxury fashion and sustainability, particularly in the resale industry
