Role: Mainframe Technical Lead

Location: Toronto, ON (REMOTE for now)

Salary: 125K CAD Max,

We are looking for a Technical Lead with extensive experience in a mainframe environment who can effectively work within both offshore and onshore models. The ideal candidate must possess full-time development experience, as positions focused on testing or support are not appropriate

As the onshore lead, the candidate should be capable of managing end-to-end project deliveries and actively participating in discussions regarding project requirements and architecture. Additionally, they should be able to address queries from the offshore team and provide necessary assistance through daily connect cal

· Minimum work experience: 10+ Years in Mainframe development.    COBOL-L3 (Mandatory)     DB2 - Z/OS Application Programming-L3 (Mandatory)     JCL - Job Control Language-L3 (Mandatory)     VSAM (Mandatory)     CICS

· Knowledge of IBM IDz, Z/OS connect and automation would be an added advantage but not mandatory.

· As a Lead, you are responsible for managing a small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module within a project (Delivery/Maintenance/Testing)

· Serve as entry level specialist with expertise in particular technology/industry domain/a process / application / product.

· Responsible for functional/technical track of a project.

· Ability to support the PO / SM from a Technical perspective in terms of prioritizing and splitting work.

· Agile mindset and methodologies e.g., Scrum

Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
