Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our Plant & Fleet department, our Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.

What will you be doing?
You’ll play a key part in scheduling essential inspections, calibrations, and service events for our plant and vehicles, helping us meet statutory requirements and stay on top of our game. Whether it’s planning for regular maintenance or ensuring MOTs are booked in on time, you’ll be the one behind the scenes keeping it all moving smoothly.
We’ll count on you to find smart, cost-effective ways to deliver maintenance, always with an eye on value and quality. You’ll be in touch with customers, arranging appointments and offering a friendly, reliable point of contact for their service needs. After inspections, you’ll process defect reports and work swiftly to coordinate any necessary repairs.
You’ll also handle recharges and invoicing in line with service level agreements, and book trusted external repairers for the contracts you look after. And when things get especially busy, you’ll jump in to support our breakdown team.
What you’ll bring
Experience in a similar role within the plant and fleet sector
Strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
Able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
Able to use a number of internal systems, so you got good IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Fleet Maintenance related software would be an advantage however training will be provided
