About The Team
The IMA Finance team is a core function in the inner workings of the agency set up. We provide specialist services and advice across the business, supporting internally and externally.
Summary Of The Role
We are looking for a Management Accountant to support the IMA Finance team on a 12 month Maternity Cover basis. As a Management Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller and assist in the preparation of timely, accurate financial information for presentation to the CFO, the Board & External Stakeholders. You will assist in the smooth running of the Finance Department and be a hands-on Management Accountant with strong business partnering abilities, ensuring efficient and effective financial reporting across IMA.
Some Responsibilities Of The Management Accountant Role Will Include
• Lead routine reviews with non-finance colleagues for revenue and cost recognition within your global portfolio of jobs.
• Preparation and distribution of weekly unbilled reports, to then follow up and obtain all relevant operational detail to drive improvements in and to store support for accrued & prepaid balances.
• Prepare analysis of Sales and Contributions by department/client alongside respective colleagues.
• Manage the monthly period end close and production of information for the monthly management accounts.
• Preparation & posting of monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Analysis of overhead allocations and differences to forecast figures.
• Production of full balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
