Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and driven Management Accountant to join our Digital Finance team. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial governance across our UK and EU websites, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insight in financial reporting and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts for online delivery across all UK and EU websites and delivery streams.
Manage P&L reporting and provide insights to each team.
Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating these to the Finance Manager
Identify and implement automation or streamline opportunities within our current processes to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues that delay month-end close processes.
Support the timely and effective completion of the group audit, working confidently with Deloitte.
Partner with commercial finance teams to deliver actionable insights that will support strategic decision-making.
Support the transformations team in projects that will be rolled out within the business.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). We will also consider a Finalist due to qualify < 12months.
Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, multi-site retail or commercial environment.

Attention to Detail: Ability to analyse and explain the financial story behind cost bases.
Process improvement: A proactive mindset with a passion for enhancing finance processes and driving continuous improvement.
Problem solving: Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach to overcoming challenges.
Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude, capable of working across multiple departments and reporting lines.
