Citadel Source are delighted to be partnering with a well-known Bristol brand, synonymous with the local area to recruit a new Senior Management Accountant for a large division of the business. This newly formed role will allow full ownership over several divisions of a growing and highly acquisitive group whilst supporting on wider FP&A activity.
About you
You will be a proven finance professional with a background of management accounting but also has a thirst for partnering with non-finance stakeholders and supporting on business cases. As this business continues to grow and develop, you will have the opportunity to expand your exposure to the wider organisation and group finance setup.
The role
A very varied opportunity for a candidate to both manage a ‘day to day’ month-end activity, but also support with wider business change/projects to improve the efficiency of the function. You will have a strong eye for detail and be enjoy supporting through business partnering and data analysis and insight.
As a Senior Management Accountant, your role will include but not be limited to:
• Supporting the divisional senior management team in better understanding their financial position and improving financial performance.
• Managing, leading and developing a small team of finance professionals and ensuring the integrity of day-to-day finance and timely monthly management accounts
• Key relationship management of non-finance stakeholders to aid in transparency of financial information.
• Oversight of budgeting and forecasting process for the division
• Other ad-hoc duties as they arise.
